I studied chess with Rajesh Sir for 5 years as a teenager. Rajesh Sir is of course an amazing teacher – we had a good balance of openings, tactics, combinations, and rating games, but he’s also a very warm and friendly person. Classes were always fun; we often played hours after end of class, and made good friends. Sir also arranged summer workshops and class tournaments, and trained us to play competitively at various levels.

I started playing chess when I was about 5 years old. But I only learned the true joy of chess after joining Rajesh Oza academy when I was almost 12 years old.
